Adjusting to a new city, community, and school was a challenge because I was used to being in my own city, with my old friends, at my old school. With time, the fear and emotions lessened but did not disappear. The first night was the most horrible as at that point of time I finally realized that no matter what I am not going anywhere anytime soon.
It must be great because it reflects deep thinking that you learned when you gained this crazy new perspective. I never wanted to go to a boarding school and begged my parents not to send me there but it was not to be done.
It is so frightening that it can make a person fall sick, especially in case of a child. What a crazy adventure that must have been I learned to accept my fate and tried to live normally.
